I was drawn to the warm colors of the shore that contrasted so strongly with the cool expanse of the lake and sky. I became curious, wanting to discover what was happening in these small pools, and what gave them such brilliant colors. Unfortunately the answers escaped me that day, although I was able to take away this image.
